Purity Balls

Using one of my OCs but this is what actually happened a few days ago. I stumbled about this article and, by reading the headline only, assumed that "Purity Balls" are sextoys - and really hope more people do so.

In short, Purity Balls are an event where a daughter pledges to her father to stay abstinent till marriage and he pledges to safe her purity till then. 
This lines up with all this other fucked up American BS about sex, like allowing guns but banning nudity/sexuality, calling women who use contraception "sluts" and thinking that it was no real rape if you get pregnant from it. Making your daughters feel bad when they have sexual feelings is really shitty - is there a similar event for boys too? (And if yes, that doesn't make anything better )
